Boost

The “Boost” specification refers to a wider hub and axle standard that pushes the front wheel spacing to 110 mm (using a 15 mm thru-axle) and the rear to 148 mm (using a 12 mm thru-axle). This replaced older standards (100 mm front / 142 mm rear) to create significantly stronger, stiffer wheels with better tire and frame clearance.
