Ratchet rings wear out over time especially if ridden in competition or in inclement weather. A worn ratchet ring can cause the pawls to fail to engage or to slip under load.
They are made of Scandium for extra hardness.
Novatec 27T Press-Fit Ratchet Rings fit several Novatec hubs and also the BDop R142-11 hub. They are compatible with Shimano/SRAM freehubs or SRAM XD or SRAM XD-R Drivers.
If you’re not sure which ratchet ring you need? CONTACT US, and we’d be happy to help.
