This Lightweight BB is for standard 68mm~73mm threaded BSA BB shells and is for Shimano Hollowtech II and all compatible cranksets.
It comes in two variations, which are illustrated below. Essentially, we offer two different Q-Factor versions of this bottom bracket. The first is 10.2mm, and the second is 11.2mm. The 10.2 version extends 10.2mm from the face of each side of the BB shell, while the 11.2 version extends 11.2mm on each side from the face of the BB shell.
This has two benefits. The first is chainline. It can help with the differences between the chainlines in road, mountain, and adventure/gravel groupsets. It can improve shifting and decrease drivetrain noise, and it can improve shifting.
The second benefit, although small, is that it can help some riders with personal comfort. The 1mm on each side can make enough of a difference for knees and hips over time.
