Josh –
10 years ago I ordered Novatec/Kinlin/Pillar parts from BDop and built an awesome sub-1600g wheelset for my singlespeed road bike, basically the same kit here except I used a Novatec A166SB-BO rear track hub and the predecessor Kinlin XR-300 rims. After a few years I switched to gears and got a F482SB-11 road hub to rebuild the rear wheel, making it very similar to the Alloy Road II kit. I ride that same wheelset 100+ km/week and it’s never needed truing despite the low spoke count (20/24), countless curb drops, tons of unseen potholes, a few gravel grinds, even a bit of singletrack, and my slowly but steadily increasing bodyweight (holding at 75 kg). Bearings still spin silky smooth too. Thank you for offering such excellent products at reasonable prices!
