The BDop Adventure/Gravel 1 1/4″ headset has an additional clamping mechanism built into the upper race. It is more secure. Since there are 3 clamping points, it also spreads the clamping forces on the fork steerer tube over a wider area.

It uses Sealed ANGULAR CONTACT BEARINGS. Angular Contact bearings are better for headsets because they distribute both radial and axial loads more evenly, prolonging bearing life.
